The GT Spec Muffler is the core of an ultimate high power exhaust system. Previously available only for select GT class vehicles the GT Muffler sireies has been expanded for a wide variety of popular vehicles. The GT System is a FULLY polished stainless steel exhaust utilizing a massive 95mm* (3.74 inches) piping diameter channeled through a 114.3mm (4.5 inch) tip. An A'PEX Silencer is included to suppress exhaust sound output for street applications. By using even lighter SUS 304 stainless steel piping to save weight, the GT Series muffler stands as the benchmark of power, craftsmanship, and design. Each muffler incorporates immaculate robotic TIG welds as well as hand crafted welding.
All A'PEXi GT SPEC Muffler Exhaust Systems comply with applicable emission laws since they neither modify nor relocate the required factory emission control devices; they are considered "direct replacement" parts. Such parts do not require a CARB Executive Order (EO) since they are not "add on" or "modified" parts. A'PEXi GT SPEC Muffler Exhaust Systems are "functionally identical" to the OEM parts during emission tests. Sound levels are tested on stock vehicles before the product release to ensure compliance with the 95dB limit.
The A'PEXi N1 Dual Exhaust System is a hybrid variation of the N1 exhaust. This system incorporates a twin pipe, twin canister design for improved mid-range torque without sacrificing top end power. Bassani Power X Crossovers are used to connect Bassani headers or factory manifolds to stock or Bassani AFT-CAT exhaust system with true dual mufflers. They feature mandrel bent tubing welded into a unique "X" shaped chamber made out of two stamped sections. This precision-design is more costly than conventional crossovers, but Bassani feels the gains in power, sound and appearance more than makes up the difference.
Bassani's Y-pipe Equalizer brand crossovers pipes are used to connect headers to either the stock or Bassani AFT-CAT exhaust systems on vehicles with single OEM mufflers. Most OEM crossover pipes utilize a "Y-shaped" design with press bent tubing. Press bending creates wrinkles in the tubing which adversely affects the airflow. All Bassani Equalizer brand crossovers pipes are mandrel bent tube and in some cases the diameter is improved to optimize exhaust system performance.
STREET or OFF-ROAD… If you are upgrading the exhaust system on your vehicle, Bassani recommends using their Power X Crossovers or Y-Pipe crossovers pipes with catalytic converters. Bassani only uses premium cats and all factory emissions connections are retained. Compared to the off-road crossover pipe without cats, there is virtually no difference in power output. So for street use, crossovers with catalytic converters are definitely the way to go.
DC Sports Single Canister exhaust kits are dyno tuned and tested to
5make serious gains in horsepower and torque. DC Sports exhaust systems feature large, polished, round barrel-style canisters and straight-cut, four-inch rolled tip or tips. Certain applications feature a single canister dual tip system, and for select vehicles a dual canister system is available. Like all DC Sports engine breathing products, DC Sports exhaust systems are dyno tuned and tested to increase power and torque.
DC Sports exhaust systems are made from CNC, Mandrel bent, T304 stainless steel, robotically welded, and feature a straight-through muffler core. DC Sports exhausts also include solid hangers and use the factory mounting locations and includes all the hardware for an easy installation.
Late model systems meet 95dB noise restriction
Every Cat-Back system is made from T-304 stainless steel (superior to 409 or aluminized steel) employing mandrel-bent tubing, all-welded construction, and is designed for accurate fit and easy installation. Nearly 30 years experience and special merge collector technology provide the ultimate in power and endurance.
These gases condense and attack the system internally. Elements such as corrosive salts, moisture and mud contribute to exterior deterioration. These elements combined with equipment vibration, high temperatures, emission control requirements, uneven road surfaces, and varying traffic patterns make it easy to understand the need and demand for a long-lasting exhaust system. Borla systems are built to withstand these destructive conditions – Borla guarantees their exhaust systems for one million miles. All Borla exhausts are built from aircraft-quality T-304 stainless steel -- stainless inside and out, not mild steel, not aluminum, not coated aluminum, not just wrapped with stainless on the outside for show.
Coating techniques, such as aluminizing, can somewhat prolong the life of mild steel, but coatings suffer at the weld points. And, comparing aluminized steel to T-304 stainless steel is like comparing gold-plated metal to solid gold! T-304 stainless steel has the highest chromium content, making it the most resistant to corrosion and therefore the most desirable material for a long-lasting exhaust system. Note: Only the flanges are not stainless. The 3/8-1/2 inch flanges are so thick they will never affect the performance or longevity of the system.
Today, choosing performance exhaust can be confusing. A common misconception is that "bigger is better". Many enthusiasts, and manufacturers too, seem to feel that very large diameter pipes are the only way to go for muscle car performance, while at Borla they have found for street use, big pipes just take energy out of the exhaust, both by slowing down exhaust gas velocity and by cooling off the gases. While exhaust may leave the port at 1500 degrees or more, at the tailpipe it's down to 150 degrees -- a sign energy has been lost. Velocity and uninterrupted flow are the real performance-making factors.
Furthermore, it is the low frequency range that has energy (the sound you can feel inside the car); big pipes increase the low frequencies, making an uncomfortable roaring or droning sound. A Borla exhaust system, on the other hand, is designed for less restriction, keeping the velocity and frequency high so the main sound is behind the tailpipe.
Late model cars and trucks are computer controlled to such an extent that it may take a period of time (600-800 miles) before the computer reprograms to reflect the improved flow characteristics of your new Borla exhaust system.
It is recommended that you have your Borla professionally installed; however, if you choose to do it yourself, anticipate approximately two hours for a system install and approximately six hours for header installation. Compare the shipment contents with the ship list before you begin, and make sure the tip(s) line up, working and tightening toward the front of the vehicle.

Designed specifically for use on vehicles with aftermarket turbochargers, including but not limited to GReddy bolt-on kits, the new GReddy EVO TT is a hybrid version of GReddy’s popular EVO2 cat-back exhaust system. It was created specifically to enhance non-turbocharged vehicles that have been converted to turbocharged vehicles. Similar to the full stainless steel EVO2, the EVO TT is designed with larger diameter piping, then normally found on non-turbo charged applications. This will optimize performance in its boosted form, while still providing effective sound suppression when used with a turbo. Gibson Sport Truck Exhausts are designed for hassle-free, bolt-on installation. Typical dyno tested horsepower gains are between 10-15HP and 15-20lb-ft of increased torque. Fuel economy may improve as your engine becomes more fuel-efficient. Not recommended for heavy duty towing. Noise level may exceed 95-decibel standard.
Specifically engineered for turbo applications that require greater flow capacity than naturally aspirated applications, Turbo Exhaust systems use a straight through design. The increased flow characteristics offer a gain in boost pressure, boost response, a broader powerband and increases overall peak horsepower.
